Event Management

Since 2000 we have been involved in directly creating, hosting, running, managing and often delivering well over 500 events of all sizes ranging from various ICT and Internet Marketing workshops to formal black tie awards dinners with audiences ranging from a compact 12 to a significant 250.

One of our key strengths is that we understand the market we need to attract and because we understand business, we know the hot topics and how to attract the relevant audiences.

In 2010 and 2011, we also ran events in Glasgow attracting the magnificent Rand Fishkin from SEOMoz (2010) and Matt Bailey of SiteLogic (2011) as guest speakers.

The vast majority of our smaller events focus on ICT which encompasses e-business, e-commerce, CRM, CMS, e-marketing, Online marketing, using Google analytics, Social Media exploitation, integration of online and offline marketing strategies, back-office systems, Online law and mobile commerce.

Many of these can be awareness raising and generic in content but often, upon request they are very content specific workshops.

The demand may change but if relevance and quality is delivered, whether these events are free or chargeable to attend, audience delegates will be driven to do more as a direct result.

It is vitally important that we attract the correct delegates to the audience as this has been shown to promote uptake and implementation of the topic far more effectively.

We particularly want to ensure that we have the right speaker or compere where appropriate so ocassionally call on the services of a long time friend and fellow professional David Meehan of David John Associates whose management agency helps source just what and whom we need.

The venues we use are always fit for purpose and the feedback we get is always positive and should it for any reason not meet any individual expectations, we want to hear about it to make sure we can fix any issue in time to fix things so your event runs as you want it to.

Our levels of involvement can range from:

  • project management
  • gathering marketing collateral
  • creating a website for the event
  • database management and cleansing
  • managing the running of the entire event as main contractor
  • arranging guest personalities and presenters
  • table and seating planning
  • Audio Visual equipment etc.

We are happy to work with external partners in managing their events and we are delighted to discuss your needs and see what assistance we can provide.
