We are an event management team too!


Smart Partnerships are very experienced in bringing a range of relevant, topical and interesting ICT events to you.

Since 2000, we have created, hosted, run, managed and often delivered well over 500 events of all sizes over the past 11 years and these have ranged from various ICT workshops to formal black tie awards dinners with audiences ranging from a compact 12 to a significant 250.

One of our key strengths is that we understand the market we need to attract and because we understand business, we know the hot topics and how to attract the relevant audiences. We also recently ran an event to launch the OnlineXcellence programme in Glasgow and had the magnificent Rand Fishkin from SEOMoz as guest speaker.

The vast majority of our events focus on ICT which encompasses e-business, e-commerce, CRM, CMS, e-marketing, Online marketing, using analytics, Social Media exploitation, integration of online and offline marketing strategies, back-end systems, Online law and mobile commerce. Many of these can be awareness raising and generic in content but often, upon request they are very content specific workshops.

The demand will change but if relevance and quality is delivered, whether these events are free of chargeable, audiences will be driven to do more as a direct result. It is vitally important that we also attract the correct delegates to the audience and this has shown to promote uptake and implementation of the topic far more effectively.

The venues we use are always fit for purpose and the feedback we get is always positive and should it for any reason not meet any individual expectations, we want to hear about it to make sure we can fix any issue in time to fix things so your event runs as you want it to.

Our levels of involvement can range from:

  • project management
  • gathering marketing collateral,
  • creating a website for the event
  • database management and cleansing
  • managing the running of the entire event as main contractor,
  • arranging guest personalities and presenters,
  • table planning
  • Audio Visual equipment etc etc.
